On Saturday, February 28th at 11am, the Bass Reeves Gun Club (BRGC) held a historic general meeting to celebrate both the chapter's 10th anniversary and the national organization's decade-long impact. The event took place at The Gathering Spot in Midtown Atlanta and drew a record turnout of nearly 100 members and supporters.
The meeting was led by BRGC Board of Directors Chairman, Colin Mapp, and featured two esteemed guest speakers: BRGC National Founder and President, Philip Smith Soboyede, and former National Vice President, Doug Jefferson. Their speeches highlighted the incredible journey of the BRGC, from its humble beginnings to becoming the largest Black gun club in the country.
During the meeting, the chapter reflected on its accomplishments and milestones over the past decade. Several members were recognized for their exceptional service to the organization with awards, a testament to the dedication and hard work of those who’ve helped shape BRGC's success.
