On Thursday, February 6th, the Bass Reeves Ladies held their first monthly Zoom call, with an impressive 35 members in attendance! This initiative, conceived by Media Lead Kia Glenn and inspired by the BRGC survey created by Vice President Casandra Light, aims to offer an accessible platform for women to connect, share ideas, and engage in discussions, all without the need for travel.
The meeting was led by Kia Glenn and Casandra Wheeler, and attendees were introduced to key leaders within the chapter, including NAAGA Executive Team member Rita Garrett, Historical Society Committee Lead Claudette Tolson, BRGC Shooting Team member Steph Purdy, and Stop the Bleed/CPR Lead Instructor Bianca Agard. Kia also issued a challenge to the Bass Reeves Ladies: start thinking about the goals they want to accomplish this year as leaders in their homes and communities.
Additionally, upcoming events were highlighted, including the next Ladies Day Out, the New Member Orientation Class (NMOC), the Marksmanship Proficiency Assessment (MPA), and the 5.11 Tactical Gear and Gadgets Expo on April 6th at the Kennesaw store.
The next Bass Reeves Ladies Zoom call will be held on Thursday, March 6th, at 7:30 PM, exclusively for current members. To register, scan the QR code below and join us for another empowering meeting!
