About the event
An objective, non-judgmental assessment of your current basic skill set. The MPA is NOT a training event but a great tool to use to give you a foundation of where you are as a shooter.
LOCATION:
South River Gun Club, 5205 Highway 212 N, Covington, GA 30016,
(specific bay will be announced when known).
Please arrive early for check-in. Late arrivals will not be accommodated. DO NOT STOP AT THE CLUBHOUSE
Schedule:
09:30 am – Sign-In & Waivers (MANDATORY)
10:00 am – Safety Briefing (MANDATORY)
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT:
Payment is $35 Per Person Wednesday due before event
**NEW* YOU WILL PAY THROUGH THE WEBSITE ONLY . Pre-registration is required.
If you are a South River Member, please email Kevin Beck Triggernometry01@gmail.com before payment for a discount on your range fee (confirmation is required).
If you paid in a previous event, please reach out to us to be registered before purchasing new tickets.

WAIVERS

South River Gun Club Waiver (Print, Sign, and bring with you) Note: If you have shot at SRGC within the past year, a waiver should be on file for you.
Required Gear
Functioning handgun.
50 rounds of ammo for your weapon of choice
Ear protection.
Eye protection.
Participants are responsible for obtaining required gear & ammo. (Note: No ammo, firearms, or gear available for rent or purchase at SRGC)
Special Instructions
1. Recite the 5 Firearm Safety Fundamentals:
1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
2. Never point the muzzle at anything you don't intend to shoot.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
5. Never try to catch a falling gun
2. Recite the 5 Marksmanship Fundamentals (position, grip, aiming (including sight alignment and sight picture), trigger control, and follow-through)
3. Safely complete the course of fire (Loading and Unloading)

COURSE OF FIRE:
7 rounds at 10 feet, untimed.
7 rounds at 25 feet, untimed.
7 rounds at 30 feet, untimed.
