BRGC & 5.11 Tactical - RSID Structural Defense Course

Sean Campbell knows that reality firsthand — he and his family lived through a mass shooting incident at a Dave & Buster’s.  And just like the incident this past Monday at our hometown airport, danger doesn’t send a warning — it shows up in the middle of everyday life. This class prepares you for that moment. His RSID Structural Defense Course is built from that experience. It teaches us how to think before we react, and how to protect ourselves and our loved ones in the places we go every day — restaurants, stores, parking lots, and even our own homes. With the unstable climate in America, voting season and holiday shopping season approaching, Bass Reeves members need these skills more than ever before!

Structural Defense highlights one of the most important tactical principles which is train to be a thinker first, and a shooter, second.

It emphasizes combative awareness and principles in one of the most common environments that occur in everyday life. We explore concepts like cover, concealment, body positioning, spatial awareness, along with strategies to protect yourself and your loved ones. We also scrutinize traditional standards of accuracy, and prepare to train like we fight.
